Hobbies

Here are some of my hobbies and interests outside of work.

Watching Anime

Watching Anime

Though the term "Watching TV" seems like a wierd hobby, at the times when I don't want to be thinking turning on a good show is the perfect way to wind down and relax. Fun fact: Over the course of about 4years I have watched a total of 620 anime....that is A LOT of hours.

Video games!

Video games!

If I need something more stimulating but less relaxing you can find me playing games with my friends, or hanging out in VC chatting. I enjoy Life sim (Stardew valley), RPG's, Tabletop games (Online or in person), amoung various other things. If i had to pick one title it would be Minecraft, that game has been and grown up with me, so many good memories.

Hiking

Hiking

If you live in washington state, you know that there are a lot of beautiful trails to explore. I love going on hikes with my friends and family, and being outdoors in the wonderful rain...I mean sun is to explore and see the views. My favorite hike that I have been on has definately been in Denali national park. Sitting atop that 4K ft elevation after a long hard hike was breathtaking.

Cars

Cars

I love driving, and though I have yet to really sink my teeth into learning about how to fix cars, I am facinated by the idea. We have a classic car show very closeby that runs during the summer. It is always so lively and it is wonderful talking to the people there. I hope that one day I can be a small time mechanic.

Drawing

Drawing

I picked up drawing in 6th grade, facinated by the style of anime though I wouldn't be watching it till much later. My artist's block does last for quite awhile but being able to have an idea, pick up the pen, and draw at least vaugely what is in my head is quite fun. Artists have a lot of power....

Music

Music

I have been playing violin since I was 2 years old, thanks a lot to my mother. Growing up learning the language of music has made it so I can really appreciate all of its idiosyncrasies. When I was younger, I played in a youth orchestra, before I discovered the wonderful world of folk and jazz. Whenever im not the one playing the music, I am the one listening to it.
